Ah, our beloved Taker (or ahn-yawhn as he is affectionately known)…
He is a sweet boy with glowing recommendations of kindness from his shelter days.
He loves going on a walk, playing with dog friends, his beef hide chews, and training time. He is very gentle and mild-mannered. He is very obedient and kind to his handlers.

Prospective Disciplines: active companion. Taker is a cuddle bug. Likes to hike and play with his doggie friends. Not interested in much play. He was bred as a deer tracker and indicates interest in tracking deer only. It is possible he was trained as a deer/coon dog as he easily hops in dog boxes. We are his fifth home, so we have limited information.
Ideal Match: An active person who loves to cuddle.

Stranger Tolerance: Taker is aloof with strangers. He does not like to be directly greeted but warms up over time.
Children: Untested at this time.
Dog Tolerance: High. Very polite, dog social. Loves to play with all dogs and will adapt play styles.
